Best Mood Tracker for iOS 2022

Moods happen throughout the day, and often times we just ignore them. Bringing our attention to our moods helps us understand ourselves better.

Here’s my list of the best mood trackers for iOS in 2021

4. Stoic

While other apps tend to focus on you tracking your moods, Stoic focuses on creating a routine. You use the app in the morning and evening, and you answer questions about what you want to do and how you feel. It’s a very different way of tracking moods that may not be for everyone. The app also has an amazing selection of quotes to help you get through any challenges that you may be facing.

Similar to MoodCast, Stoic is available all throughout your Apple ecosystem with apps for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, macOS, and even stickers for iMessage. If you’re looking for something a little different, Stoic is a beautiful app to check out.

3. Bearable

This is actually a really cool app. Unlike our previous two, this is more of a health tracker than a mood tracker. Because of this, you get a lot of excellent stats associated with the extra health information. You can also track the severity of your health conditions, such as headaches, stress, anxiousness, etc.

Bearable also has a similar monetization model to other mood trackers with a well-featured free version. The subscription provides you with better correlations to your moods, extra stats, graphs, and added customizability.

2. Daylio

Daylio is definitely one that we see on many other lists, and for good reason. This app is not only a great mood tracker, but it also has some outstanding features, such as tracking activities and your habits. It’s a great way to track your life and see what affects your moods the most.

It also has an excellent journaling feature that lets you add to mood entries with additional information. This can be very informational when looking back at your entries to see what affected your moods.

This app is really excellent because it has a very well-featured free version with an optional subscription that provides a vast amount of customization and extra statistics.

1. MoodCast

Okay, yes, I make this app. But hear me out!

MoodCast is a much newer contender to the mood tracker field and was created from the ground up to add to what other mood trackers were already doing great. In addition to basic features such as mood tracking and activity tracking, MoodCast takes things a step further by allowing you to choose your mood between 0 and 100, allowing for far more granular control over your entries.

In particular, MoodCast’s best feature is the beautiful weather art that shows up to represent your mood. The entire app uses weather to help you convey your moods. It also supports a great number of devices to create a good ecosystem between your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and macOS.

Like the previous app, MoodCast has a very feature-packed free version that makes the premium upgrade almost unnecessary. The extra subscription opens up customization and better stats. It was built this way to make the premium upgrade very optional and only for people who really need some extra features and want to support development.
